This is my eighth year of racing triathlons. My "career" highlights include completing three ironman triathlons. It was lots of fun with a big group from the tri club at each of those races. My most unique race was last year at the Sunrise to Summit duathlon: bike from Bend to the Sunrise lodge on Mt. Bachelor and then run/walk/hike to the summit.

Up to 2007 I was a recreational runner, and did my 1st race on a dare having not swam or biked since middle school, gave me little time to train. Needless to say once I did one, there was no turning back. I've done 2 half ironmans, a half dozen Olympic and a bunch of sprint races and will start preparing soon for my 1st ironman next year.

I am a Mother of 5 kids, 2 cats, and 1 dog (the goldfish went with my daughter to college) WHEW! IRONMAN Coeur D' Alene has been the high point of my triathlon experience. Competed in all distance triathlons. Started in 2002. The expense of three kids in college and two still at home will lend my racing season to be a short one. Focus right now on Eugene marathon, maybe Boston next year, and short tris.
