Brian Villarette - President
I moved to Oregon in 2002 from southern CA. After a very active life of surfing, snowboarding, and competitive swimming, I found myself stuck to the couch, sulking and putting on a few extra pounds in the middle of a long rainy winter. It took me 6 years to start getting serious about getting fit. I bought my first bike in march of 2008 and did my first sprint triathlon at Hagg lake in July. I fell in love with competing again. Iron Man Arizona in November scares me to death...but that's what gets my heart pumping! Get off the couch and let's have some fun training!
Steve Schellenberg - Treasurer
Up to 2007 I was a recreational runner, and did my 1st race on a dare having not swam or biked since middle school, gave me little time to train. Needless to say once I did one, there was no turning back. I've done 2 half ironmans, a half dozen Olympic and a bunch of sprint races and will start preparing soon for my 1st ironman next year.
